URBAN DECAY x ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS

Urban Decay x Alice Through the Looking Glass eyeshadow palette

Hey guys, long time no see! So, I was lucky enough to get my hands on the NEW limited edition Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass eyeshadow palette - I was so excited! I decided not to get the lipsticks, as the colours were slightly out of my comfort zone (and I had just spent £50 on the palette).

A Bit About the Palette

I bought my palette from Harvey Nichols, as this was the only place I could get my hand on it. I also got the palette 2 days before it was released in the UK - which was fab. It cost me £46 plus £5 shipping - it was a bit pricier than buying it straight from Urban Decay (which would have cost me £43).

Receiving my package

1. I received my palette in this beautiful white box from Harvey Nichols.

2. Inside was this cute little shiny card, saying...

3. THEN, as a cute little gift, Harvey Nichols treated me with this goody bag containing some decent sized skincare samples!

4. Onto to the good stuff! I was greeted with this hamster-bed-looking stuff... but, underneath was what I had been looking forward to - the palette.

5. Inside the palette were some cute little features - a mirror, a quote saying "I'm not strange, weird, off, nor crazy, my reality is just different from yours" which I LOVE, and surprisingly a butterfly! The small details count :)

6. Finally, we get onto the shades... There are a mix of matte, shimmer and super-shimmer's in this palette. The columns are separated into different characters from the film: 1st column - Alice; 2nd column - Hatter; 3rd column - Mirana; 4th column - Iracebeth; 5h column - Time. The pigment is amazing and the formula of these eyeshadows are so buttery and easy to blend. The brush that comes with the palette is like any other UD brush - double sided, one dense, one fluffy.

The Verdict?

I really love this palette! If you can get your hands on it then you really should! It isn't like any other palette they have brought out - which is usually a problem that a lot of people find. However, if you're a makeup-lover like me, then it shouldn't be a worry! I would also comment that this palette is a mix between the Vice palette and the Naked palette, as there is a mix of neutrals and fun colours!

MAC VIVA GLAM X ARIANA GRANDE

Hey everybody! I recently purchased both of the MAC Viva Glam in collaboration with Ariana Grande products. I think these lip products are amazing, because 100% of the proceeds go towards the MAC Aids Fund - I think it is great that MAC are openly stating that they are donating 100% (minus tax) from the products sold, most companies will say that they are donating, but not how much - which is what I think is unique about the MAC Viva Glam products.

LETS TALK LIPGLASS

The lipglass that Ariana has created with MAC is a light pink-peach, sheer lipgloss. The product is also very sparkly, if you're into that sort of thing! What I like about this lipglass, is that it is so different to the lipstick that Ariana had created - it is fun to have such a dark lipstick, but not everyone is into darker shades, so bringing out a lighter lipglass was a very creative and thoughtful idea. The lipglass isn't sticky like most other MAC lipglasses and the scent is vanilla - which I really like. It glides on very smooth on your lips and looks great on any other lipstick, as it is not very pigmented.

NOW THE LIPSTICK

Firstly, lets just talk about how out-of-my-comfort-zone this lipstick is! When is came out, most people were shocked that Ariana had come up with such a dark shade, however I think it was a great idea having a 'good girl'-'bad girl' vibe - it has been different to any other Viva Glam product I have ever seen before, which was probably what she was going for.
I have mixed feelings about this lipstick, I think that it is such a stunning colour, however it does need to be built up if you want it to be the same colour on your lips as it looks in the bullet. What I like about this lipstick is that, although it is a matte shade, the consistency is not drying at all! In fact, on my when I applied the product, it didn't come out very matte, however it may have been because I applied to much lip balm beforehand, so I guess it just depends on how you apply the lipstick.

Overall, I really enjoy these products and do not regret buying them at all! if you're interested in buying them (which you should be) head over to

Hey everyone! (for the second time today) I went to the gym earlier today and I felt the NEED to review these trainers for you.
They are no doubt the comfiest pair of trainers I own - not just that, it feels like i'm walking on cushions. These trainers are perfect for running in as they are so comfy and soft, I recommend!

*Also, i'm really sorry but I can't remember the name of these trainers as I got them 2 years ago, however I do know that I got them from Go Outdoors for £40, although if I manage to find them, I will certainty add the link to this post!
